The following laws are a collection of the most significant rulings made by various Emperors throughout the ages. They are presented in no particular order, but must be abided at all times.

~~ Quarrels between citizens of the empire are not tolerated. Quarrels should be brought before the Court of Peace.
Both citizens will present their disagreement before the Court, which will render a decision that WILL be abided by. The Court consists of the Praetor (or, in exceptional cases, the Emperor), and two Tribunes. A tribune is a member of the lower aristocracy, the Druidic Order, or of the knighthood who is selected according to both the reputed wisdom of the member, and of their disassociation with either of the complainants. A character is only a tribune for as long as the court lasts, and a new tribune will be chosen for the next court. The Court of Peace handles all minor issues within the Empire.
All more important issues, as well as foreign issues, are handled directly by the High Council.

~~ Emperor's Neutrality: Citizens of the Empire may not instigate hostilities between the Empire and any other
organization. The Draconian Empire is and honorable institution that believes in peace at all costs, and any member smirching the honor of the Empire by acting in a hostile manner will be viewed as a traitor to the Law. Should another guild attack the Empire (this includes message board spams, email harassment, vulgar and offensive language, and battle.net stalking) resulting from the actions of a citizen, the situation shall be reviewed by the High Council. The citizen who began the hostilities shall face extreme penalties as a result, including exile, or possibly execution.

~~ Emperor's Neutrality Clause: Should a guild decide to besmirch the honor of the empire, or harass its citizens, the Empire will remain fast to her borders. To be neutral means to have no enemies, therefore emissaries will be sent to the hostile guild to make our enemy a friend. The Revolution has taught us that living a life of war is to not live life at all, and to live a life of peace is to truly live.

~~ Traitors to the empire shall receive a quick and immediate execution by the decree of the High Council. This is
demonstrated by the deletion of the character from the members roster, elimination of all guild privileges, and the
dishonorable execution scene in the guild story.

~~ Citizens of the empire who do not respect their elders and/or superiors may face either a lowering of rank, or may face a duel by the slighted party. Respect is to be regarded at all times, with a lower ranked citizen addressing a superior by "sir", or by the superiors given title (see Ranks). Politeness and courtesy should be ingrained into the very souls of the knights of the Empire.

~~ We are a completely legit guild. Cheating is not permitted at any time or situation. Citizens proven guilty of this shall face both a drastic loss of respect and rank, if the High Council is merciful. Most likely, the cheating will be taken as a capital offense, with exile or death as the probable outcome. Cheating includes hacking your character, duplicating items, using any hacked items, and using trainers.

~~ We are a NON pk/pkk guild. You will not kill other players unless there is an agreement between you two. This is called dueling. You will also not kill another player simply because he is rumored to be a pk.

Player killers... The words ring like a death knell over a quiet village. Most of us in the Empire have nothing to fear from these men who have succumbed to the Dark, as we only adventure with honorable men of the Empire, or with proven allies of the Empire.

However, there are those hardy souls who venture forth into the wildlands where all is not as it seems, where the man who shared your campfire the night before will slit your throat the next. Ones first reaction would be to defend oneself.
However, that is not the way it is to be done.

Many of those who attack us, the player killers, have made pacts with the Dark to make themselves invulnerable to even our holy blades. To try to defend ourselves would be futile. And to fight back would be to attack our fellow man, even if that man has been twisted by the Dark. That would make one the equally abominable Player-killer killer, those misguided warriors that think they serve the Light, but have been tricked by whispers from the Dark. Warriors of the Empire will not sink to this level, under any circumstances. You will escape the vicinity of the conflict in the fastest way possible, in the utmost silence. In these cases of attack, the Player killers' lust for the humiliation and degradation of their prey overwhelms their minds. Utmost silence is the greatest weapon you have against them. It reminds them that what they do is childish and petty, and is not worthy of responding to from an honorable person.

~~ When playing over the battlenet, you will add the extension of (DE) to your name, signifying your affiliation to the Draconian Empire

~~ You will use only a normal, pronounceable name, that doesn't use "CoOlDuDe" lettering, compound nouns (such as "Foolhardy(DE)", or "Deathlord(DE)"). This rule is in effect merely because some of what happens to the guild is recorded in a story, and names such as those mentioned above don't go well in a fantasy epic.

~~ You must have ICQ, for communication by email is too cumbersome for messages

~~ You must always be in contact with your liege lord, for if you are not heard of for two weeks or more, you will be deleted from the guild roster.

All these rules will be enforced by the High Council, working with the Blood-Knights.
